Bridal Shower

My mom and sister threw an amazing bridal shower for me! It was perfect! I loved being able too see family and friends that I haven't seen in a long time. The only thing I didn't like was how little time I felt like I had to be with everyone. 

This party made me feel unbelievably loved. Not only by how many people came, but by how many gifts people gave. I never expected people to be so generous! It was am amazing feeling and I don't think I will ever be able to put it into words except maybe overwhelming. 

Not many people know this, but the morning and night before the shower, I was curled up with severe stomach pains. I was still in a little pain at the party, but the festivities helped me take my mind off it for a little while. It was such a blessing to have so many people there to support Greg and I in our upcoming marriage (even though Greg wasn't invited ;)

The hardest time during the shower for me was the gift time. Mostly because I hate being the center of attention and I feel bad for everyone else who has to just sit there and watch me open gift after gift. We played Bingo while opening gifts, which I think made it more fun for the guests. I am so grateful for everyone who came and for everyone who showered Greg and I with gifts and love. It is such a blessing to have such a big support system.

I will try to have the Thank You notes out asap, but know that I am extremely appreciative for everything. (and so is Greg!)
