Qs and As Regarding Our Engagement

Greg and I are happy to announce that we are officially engaged!!! I cannot believe we are finally headed down the path of spending the rest of our lives together! Everyone has been saying, "it's about time" and yes, it is, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. At this point in life Greg and I both have jobs and we are heading down good roads. Any earlier and I would be more worried about life financially for us, much more so than I am now.
Answers to questions:
Q: Were you surprised??
A: Not really. We had already talked about possibly being engaged by the end of summer. Being August 29th, well, that was the end of summer. Then him not telling me what we were going to do was also a huge suspicious thing. To top it off my mom and sister just so happen to want to do nails that saturday morning, which they never plan to do. So I was a little suspicious of the day, but I didn't want my suspicions to completely ruin it so I tried not to question anyone too much to prevent them from cracking.
Q: How did it happen?
A: First we went to a classy steakhouse in Laguna Beach called Mozambique Steakhouse. I thought it was a nice place and it was fun to try their Mozambican Local favorites :) which were a little spicy but delicious. Greg really did not like the place at all, although I think that was primarily because it was impossible for them to give us a seat with a view no matter how many times he asked, they pretty much blew him off (I guess I see now why that would make him mad, since he wanted the day to be prefect). My favorite part of the whole restaurant was the Toucan they had out front! I had never seen a Toucan in person before, it was amazing! Her name was Nancy and she had gorgeous blue eyes and a bright orange beak that was almost as big as her whole body. We kept trying to get her to open her beak by making weird noises at her, but she just looked extremely annoyed.
We then rushed to find a place we could watch the last of the sunset. We were in a very residential are, so it was a little hard. We ended up finding a narrow walkway that could have led to a persons house but we went down it assuming that the policemen who were next to it would have stopped us if we were not allowed there. We had found Bluebird Beach, which was a tiny beach. There were a few people still there who were packing up to leave, as the sun was completely down. Greg and I stood and admired the sky as the colors slowly faded from it and the stars began to appear. During this time Greg stepped away from me and came to face me. He then asked if I wanted to see a trick he made. This trick ended with him on one knee, proposing to me. (internal thoughts…don't cry, don't cry, say YES!!!! don't joke and say sure, now is not the time, don't cry, is this real?? eeeeeekkkkkk) (Welcome to my mind for a bit, scary place right. lol)
He then asked me if I wanted to try it on. It was so weird for me to take off my purity ring, for once in my life I had no idea what to do with it. I put it on my right hand temporarily as it doesn't really fit it. It is crazy to think I put on the ring that I will be wearing for the rest of my life.
He then started to run, pulling me behind him. We were both in disbelief of what happened, we practically ran to the car, both with huge smiles on our faces.
Q: Did you know about the party after?
A: I hoped there would be something, otherwise I would have to call a billion people. Thank God that didn't have to happen!
Q: Do you know what date it will be, season, colors, who's in it, etc. etc. etc

A: Nope
